Custom farming is an alternative that allows a landowner the ability to retain close control of the farm business, but not be actively involved in performing day to day activities. The landowner retains control of all the farming decisions. This arrangement offers the landowner the highest reward potential for their farmland investment. The landowner pays 100% of the direct input costs for seed, chemical, fertilizer and contracts with Bagley Farms to perform farming operations required to plant and harvest the crop at a fixed per acre fee. Under this arrangement, the landowner receives 100% of the crop and 100% of the government program payments.
